Ashley joined our practice in 2017 with a combined previous 10 years’ experience in healthcare and management. With this knowledge and experience, she understands the importance of patient and employee satisfaction. She prides herself on supporting our staff to ensure we provide the best-in-class care to our patients and their families, which truly makes our practice stand out amongst the rest. Ashley oversees all daily operations and human resources for our practice, while maintaining respectful relationships with other healthcare providers and vendors. In addition, she is always looking for new ways to improve our processes, implement new technologies, and cater to the needs of our patients and our staff. When she is not working, you can find Ashley on the sidelines cheering her son on while playing sports or spending time with her family and friends.
Heather was born and raised in McHenry County and currently lives in Algonquin with her husband and two children. She has been working alongside Dr. Khanna since 2009. Heather is responsible for all patient billing and insurance processing for the practice. She has extensive experience in billing, medical office management and medical assisting. Heather provides compassionate care while assisting our patients with payments and helping them understand their insurance plans. Additionally, she assists our staff with their knowledge in medical billing and maintaining insurance requirements. In Heather's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and traveling.
Kellie has been working as a certified pharmacy technician for over 17 years. She started out her career working 13 years in a retail pharmacy setting before she joined our team at Dermatology Specialists of Illinois in 2018. It brings her great joy to provide patients the medications they need, all while helping them to find savings when the costs are high. When she is not working in the pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets. Some activities she enjoys are being outdoors camping and hiking, photography, and being a scout mom.
Sandy started her career as an X-Ray technologist after graduating from Kishwaukee College with an AAS in Radiological Technology and quickly transferred into a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist. After 15 years in the field, her desire to help patients on a more personal level drew her into the field of Radiation Therapy. Her schooling continued at College of DuPage and she was able to sit for her Boards in 2014. Sandy joined Dermatology Specialists of Illinois in 2017 and enjoys making her patients feel comfortable and confident in their healthcare choice with her smiles, laughter, and friendliness throughout their treatment process and beyond. She embraces the connections she makes with her patients on a day to day basis and loves to hear their stories, learn about their families, and discuss the activities they enjoy. Sandy and her husband reside in their hometown of Genoa-Kingston where they both grew up and graduated from. They love to watch their high-school aged twins enjoy and participate in sports, the arts, and the community offerings as much as they did while young.
Mina Misseha graduated from the university of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and obtained another degree in Radiation Therapy in 2015, where he was treating several types of cancer in a hospital setting. Mina joined Dermatology Specialists of Illinois in 2022 and now focuses on treating non-melanoma skin cancers in our Barrington location. Mina prides himself in providing excellent care along with education to our patients to help ease the process of treating skin cancer. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching or playing all kinds of sports.
